Grief Resources for Adults

BOOKS AND VIDEOS:

Till Death Do Us Part - a video for men and women who have experienced the death of a spouse.

To help families through the difficult year after a death, we share Doug Manning’s Continuing Care Series, a group of books mailed to them throughout the next year.

Good Grief - Describes what happens to us whenever we lose someone or something important.

A Grief Observed - Probes the “mad midnight moments” of the author’s mourning and loss, what he had previously believed about life and death, marriage, and even God.

The Courage to Grieve - Covers the grief experience, recovery process, grief resolution, and self-help.

Finding Your Way - This compassionate guide is an excellent resource for understanding the turbulent journeys adults grieving the loss of a parent may face. This book is a rare blend of compassionate information and practical suggestions.

When Bad Things Happen To Good People - For the person who has been hurt by life - by death, illness or injury, rejection or disappointment - and who knows in his heart that if there is justice in the world, he deserves better.

The Gift of Significance - Offers advice to clergy and lay persons on practical and personal ways to touch those who have lost a loved one. Written by a minister.
