Barbara R. Frederick

Barbara R. Frederick, 57, of Downingtown, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at home. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Edith B. Donia Frederick and the late John J. Frederick. Barbara was a 1969 graduate of Coatesville High School. She was employed for the past ten years as a coordinator with the Fantanarosa Insurance Agency. Prior to that she was employed for 30 years in the Human Resources Department of the Brandywine Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, and the LGM. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Marie T. Jaszczyszyn, wife of Benjamin, Anita C. Sabocsik, wife of Dennis; three brothers, John J. Frederick, Anthony J. Frederick, husband of Suzanne, Paul V. Frederick, husband of Kathy; 8 nieces, 7 nephews and a great niece and great nephew. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Frederick in 1999 and a brother, Joseph and a sister, Elaine Dillow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2009 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Family and friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12 and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 13 at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Chester County Assoc. for the Blind, 71 South 1st Avenue, Coatesville, PA 19320.
