Elaine Wike Obituary

Elaine J. Wike, 89, formerly of Downingtown, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of Edwin H. Wike, who preceded her in death in 1997. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Margaret Lyons Johnson, Sr. Elaine enjoyed reading and doing needlework. Surviving her are two daughters; Donna E. Kriston, wife of William, Sr. of Narvon and Kathleen J. Wike, wife of Tom Zartman of Montezuma, NC; three grandchildren, William Kriston, Jr., and Matt and Daniel Zartman and a great granddaughter, Breanna Kriston. Funeral services and interment will be private. In her memory, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike, Bldg. A, Suite 100, Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190.
