Jeffrey A. Gindin, 66, of Coatesville died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Philadelphia; and was a Gift of Life donor.
He was the husband of Linda C. Hamer Gindin, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Emanuel and Ruth Hicks Gindin.
Jeff was a 1970 graduate of Downingtown High School, where he played basketball, and attended the University of Pittsburgh.
He was employed as a Quality Control Manager with Sunoco Paper Products retiring in 2005.
Jeff was a life-time member of Wagontown Fire Co., where he served as a past President. He had many hobbies including cooking and grilling, model trains, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, and playing the guitar. Jeff was a handyman par excellence, who could fix anything.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, is a son, Justin E. Gindin (Amy); a brother, Douglas R. Gindin (Brenda); and two grandchildren, Hunter and Tessa. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy and Diane.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville where relatives and friends may begin calling at 9 a.m. Interment will be private.
