William Byerly Obituary

William L. Byerly, 84, of Coatesville died Saturday, May 9 at the Hospice Unit of the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary Lou Frantz Byerly, who preceded him in death in 2004. Born in Embreeville, he was the son of the late Maxwell L. and Emily Passmore Byerly. William served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. For 32 years, he was employed with Suburban Propane retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Downingtown VFW Post #845. Surviving him are a daughter, Joan M. Dillow, wife of Rocky; two grandchildren, Josh and Stacey and three great grandchildren, Lane, Nathan and Aubrey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 14 at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Family and friends may call on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery, West Chester.
