Albert Pollock Obituary
Albert S. Pollock, 77, of Coatesville died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Hospice Unit of the Coatesville VA Medical Center.
Albert was the husband of Helen Botfield Pollock. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Stanley G. and Margaret Boettcher Pollock.
Albert was a 1958 graduate of Scott High School.
He was employed in inventory control with Burroughs Corp. and also worked at UPS for 20 years.
Albert was a member of the West End and the Brandywine Fire Companies. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and fishing; and was an avid sports fan especially of baseball.
Surviving him is a son, David A. Pollock; a daughter, Patricia A. Boas; a sister, Joanne P. Good (William E.); two grandsons, Brice and Jack; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2017 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be private.
In his memory, contributions may be made to the Coatesville VA Medical Center, Hospice Bldg., #138, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.
