Anna M. (Syphard) Sandoe

Anna M. (Syphard) Sandoe, 98, formerly of Coatesville died Friday, May 1, 2020 at Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook where she was a resident since 2016.

She was the wife of the late Paul H. Sandoe, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Born in East Goshen, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Murray Syphard.

Anna and a group of her friends would meet several times a week at McDonalds for a luncheon get-together.

Surviving her are a son, Paul H. Sandoe, Jr. (Liz) of Waterville, PA and a daughter, Floann Powell (Robert) of Glenmoore; a daughter-in-law, Donna Sandoe;and two sisters, Geraldine Goody and Beverly Garress (Frank “Bucky”)  She also had eight grandchildren, Anthony (Tony) Romasco (Sherrie), DeAnn Fitzgerald, Paul Sandoe, III, Jason (Ginny) Sandoe, Carl Sandoe, Jeanine Sandoe, Dawn Pannebaker (Wes), Shawn Powell (Chasity); 22 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, C. Ellsworth Sandoe and a granddaughter, Paula Sandoe and her siblings, William Syphard (Betty), Jane Bannon (Horace), Edna Chesnet (William), Viginia White (Vernon “Bunk”), Ellsworth Syphard (Mary), and her brother-in-law Paul “Pete” Goody.

Services will be private with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.

In her memory, contributions may be made to Tel Hai Assurance Fund, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344.
