Anne Krupansky McComsey, 87, of Coatesville passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 surrounded by her family, following a lengthy illness of Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease.
She was the loving wife of LeRoy A. McComsey with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Ludmilla Krupansky.
Anne was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, Coatesville.
Her working career spanned many years at several jobs at G. O. Carlson, the YMCA and YWCA and finally retiring from the Coatesville VA Hospital in the Engineering Department.
Anne was very kind and generous to all and will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and playing the piano. Most of all she was a devoted wife and mother, who liked to take care of and spend time with her family.
Surviving her in addition to her husband, LeRoy are her children LeAnne Thompson, Ronald McComsey (Dawn), Michael McComsey (Cheryl Ann), Carol McComsey Dailey (Duayne), Steven McComsey and Donna Grantham (Ken). Her grandchildren, Amanda Stevens (Mark), Ryan, Andrew, Brandon, Stephanie, Michael (Danielle Beecher) and stepgrandchildren, Heather, Lee, Kimberlee; many great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a brother, Paul Krupansky.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Steve (Catherine) Krupansky, Charles (Catherine) Krupansky, Gasper (Jane) Krupansky, Mary (Joseph) Sabo, Rose (William) Michnuk, Josephine (Donald) Regener, Helen (Charlie) Gentile, and Sue (Ray) Pawlowski and sister-in-law Joanne Krupansky (wife of Paul).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at St. Joseph Church, 404 Charles St., Coatesville where relatives and friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
