Aristotelis Sideris

Aristotelis Michael Sideris, 97, of New Holland and formerly of Coatesville passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy.

Born in Ios, Greece on October 22, 1927 and he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Sideris.

He was the husband of the late Agatha Sideris with whom he shared 63 years of marriage at the time of her death in 2018.

He was raised in Eratini, Greece.  After his military service he moved to Athens where he worked and married Agatha Papatriantaphyllou on September 23, 1956 in Attica, Athens, Greece.

Aristotelis was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church of Coatesville and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Lancaster and the AHEPA of Coatesville.  

He lived a full and happy life of faith, kindness, generosity and service to others and was loved by all who knew him.

Surviving him are his daughters, Arete Fisher (husband Brad Fisher) and Anna Sideris (husband Brian); four grandchildren, George Evagelou (Aya), Aristea Toth (Mark), Arielle Horst, Stefanie Supplee (Adam); and seven great grandchildren, Logan & Malia Horst, Evangelia & Kalliope Toth, Isla, Owen & Alora Supplee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna Sideris, three sisters (Maria, Irini, Sofia), a brother (John) and three half siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 392 Charles St., Coatesville, PA where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
