Betty Jane (Paster) Columbia

Betty Jane Columbia, 81, of Coatesville died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.
She was the wife of Bernard J. Columbia, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2004.
Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Dunlop Paster.
Betty was employed in the Quality Control department of Wyeth Labs.
She enjoyed traveling, camping and going to Atlantic City, NJ to go to the casinos. Betty also liked to go shopping, dining out, playing Bingo and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving her is a daughter, Barbara Allison, wife of Ron; a son, Bernard J. Columbia, Jr. and his companion, Barbara Jones; a brother, Stephen Paster; two sisters, Eleanor Klenk and Evelyn Bernsteel; two grandchildren, Brittany and Matt and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Bernsteel.
A Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, where relatives and friends may call beginning at 3 p.m.
