Carmen A. Rosado

Carmen A. Rosado, 89, of Coatesville died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the home of her daughter, Grace.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Miguel Rosado and Victoria Gonzale Velez.

Carmen was a homemaker, who also took care of many of the neighborhood children.  The family enjoyed all of her cooking but especially her "icebergs" that she also sold in the neighborhood.

She is survived by her children, Carmen N. "Lydia" Soto, Grace M. Alvarado, Edilberto "Papo" Alvarado, Jose E. "Keko" Alvarado; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Her sisters are Hilda, Erma and Miquelina and her brothers are Antonio "Wiso", Jose "Chito", Andre and Miguel.

A visitation for friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.

Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
