Carole Ann Stein, 90, of East Fallowfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Paoli Hospital.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Harte Smith. Carole was the beloved wife of Robert W. Stein, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage and raising their family in Wayne, PA. for over 40 years.
A dedicated member of St. Isaac Jogues in Wayne, and more recently Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Coatesville, Carole’s true passion was her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren, instilling in them strength, love, and a joyful approach to life. Her love for family was evident in everything she did.
When not spending time with her loved ones, Carole enjoyed relaxing by gardening, playing tennis, and most of all, sharing treasured moments with her husband at their Outer Banks home.
Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she was blessed to have many of them close by, often stopping in for a visit or a chat.
Carole Stein is survived by her husband Robert W. Stein (97), her six children: Claudia, Gail, Bobby, Pete, Jamie, and Katie, her 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Carole’s warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
