Charles Case Jr., 92 of Coatesville passed away peacefully April 28, 2021 in Paoli Hospital. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Dolores (Wagner) Case in 1989.
Charles was born June 9, 1928 to Charles and Carrie Case in Delaware.
He is survived by a sister, Laura Deckman and a brother, Manley Case. Also, his children, Pam Palmieri (Don), Jeffrey Case (Anne), Kim Bireley, (Craig) and Susan Richardson (Tom); 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
As a young man, Charles served his Country as a Sergeant in the US Army. He also worked as a cowboy for King Ranch and a salesman for Strunk Equipment prior to starting a successful 40 year career as an agent for State Farm Insurance. Charles actively served the Coatesville community; was a member of the Lions Club, Jaycees, and Rotary Club. He was a 50 year member of the Rajah Shrine and Masonic Temple. Additionally, he was a long-time member of Doe Run Presbyterian Church where he served on many boards and committees.
Charles was an avid world traveler. He visited five Continents, his favorite was Africa, where he visited several times.
His family wishes to thank the entire staff of the Gardens at Freedom Village Brandywine, where Charles resided for the last 3 1/2 years.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Harris Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.
Interment will be private.
