Clarence W. “Dick” Coulter, 81, of Thorndale passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at his home.
He was the husband of Shirley M. Robinson Coulter with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in East Fallowfield, he was the son of the late George F. and Clara Hadley Coulter.
Dick served in the U. S. Army for 21 years having retired in 1982 achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his career, he was a member of the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He enjoyed bowling and was a member of a team at the Bowling Palace in Downingtown.
Surviving him in addition to his wife, Shirley is his son, Richard W. Coulter and a sister, Charlotte Fielding.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Harris Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, Coatesville.
