David Edward Lyons, 75, of Coatesville died Monday, February 7, 2022 at Hickory House, Honey Brook.
He was the husband of Diana Lyons who preceded him in death in 1999.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Marjorie Lyons.
David was a graduate of Temple University and received a Masters Degree from Wilmington University. He served in the U. S. Army as a Quality Assurance Specialist retiring in 2017.
For 30 years, David held a service every Wednesday night at City Gate Mission.
He was an avid enthusiast of antique guns. He also enjoyed the company of his English and American Bull Dogs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Friends may visit from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Interment will be in Hephzibah Cemetery, Coatesville.
