After fighting a courageous battle against COVID-19 at Brandywine Hospital; Donald L. Brown, 87, of Coatesville joined his Lord and Saviour on June 6, 2021 at 11:50 a.m.
He was the husband of Janet Reber Jobe Brown with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Brown
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Trace Brown.
Don was employed with the former Lukens Steel Company and in his retirement years he was a real estate appraiser.
He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, Janet; is a daughter, Terri L. Brown and her companion, Al Bassett; a son, Donald L. Brown and his wife, Michele; a sister, Constance Meloy; six grandchildren, Trisha and Thomas Lyons, Jason, Rachel, Kadejia and Dauntiese Brown; and two great grandchildren, Payton and Paige Lyons.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Cornerstone Fellowship, 101 Kylies Road, Coatesville where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Please note masks and social distancing rules will be followed.
Interment will be private.
