Edward L. Waddell

Edward L. Waddell, 70, of Coatesville died suddenly Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home.

He was the husband of Kathryn Pollock Waddell with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Edward and Minerva Thompson Waddell.

Ed was a 1968 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and a member of St. Peter’s Church.

He was an owner/partner of MTS Forge steel manufacturing.

Ed was an avid golfer and played a round every time he got a chance with his brother-in-law, Dave and his best friend, Steve.  He also loved decorating for Christmas and his lights lit up the whole neighborhood.

Ed was a wonderful husband, the best dad in the world, a very kind and generous man; and was loved by all who knew him well.

Surviving him in addition to wife is a daughter, Lisa Waddell and a sister, Phyllis Brown.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
