Ethel Balistreri born August 11, 1924 died at home peacefully on May 30, 2020. Born in Wheelock, England, she was the daughter of James and Annie Gotham. She had 3 brothers and 1 sister, all deceased and remained in England. Ethel was the loving wife to Frank R. Balistreri who she met in England during WWII. They fell in love and married. She traveled to the United States in 1945 when her soldier was discharged and shortly after they settled in Coatesville, PA to raise a family. She was a devoted mother to and is survived by her 3 sons Michael, John and Frank all of Coatesville. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren Tami Kirby, Michael Balistreri, Rich McBride, Krissy Torres, Wendy Balistreri and Amy Balistreri, 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Ethel was known as a kind and loving person to her family, especially her husband. She loved to dance, tell stories and play games, especially checkers with her grandkids. Ethel attended Our Lady of the Rosary church and worked at Coatesville and Brandywine Hospital in the Pharmacy for most of her life.
