Franklin Richards Davis passed away on October 1, 2020, one day shy of his 82nd birthday.
Frank was born in Coatesville, PA, to the late Frank and Clarace Davis. He was a graduate of Coatesville Area High School, West Chester University and received a Master’s in Engineering from Villanova University. Frank spent most of his career as an engineer at PSE&G’s nuclear power plant in Salem, NJ. He was a faithful member of the New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Newark, DE.
Frank had an exceptional wit and sense of humor, was a skilled and avid tennis player, a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and the MVP of all trivia challenges. Above all, he was a kind, gentle soul, and a shining example of living a life of thanks and grace regardless of circumstances. Throughout protracted medical challenges, Frank always focused on kindness and gratitude towards others, and brought positivity, light, and laughter to all around him.
Frank is survived by his wife, Judy; his beloved children, Sheri (Patrick) Carney, Gregory (June) Davis, Stephen (Jamie) Davis, and John (Audrey) Davis; his brother Bruce (Bobbi) Davis, and 8 adoring grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Brandywine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, DE for their extraordinary kindness and care of Frank over the past several years.
Services and burial will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Purple Strides Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer http://support.pancan.org/goto/Frank_Davis
