Hazel N. (Nafe) Flynn

Hazel N. Flynn, 90, of Coatesville passed away on December 30, 2020 at Harrison Senior Living, Coatesville.

Hazel was the beloved wife of Martin F. Flynn with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.

Born on October 7, 1930 in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Louise Schulmeister Nafe and was the youngest of four children. 

Hazel was a 1948 graduate of Scott High School and worked as a secretary for the Coatesville Area School District.  She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

She loved to spend time at her homes at the Pocono Mountains and Stone Harbor.

Hazel was the loving mother of her three children; Martin Flynn, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, Gerald Flynn and his wife, Judy, and her daughter, Deborah Barlow.  She had five grandchildren, Shannon, Danielle, Rory, and Megan Flynn, and Cory Brown.  Also six great grandchildren, Jeffrey Flynn Bakowski, Tyler Flynn Bakowski, Frank Lilley, Jordan Flynn, Riley Springer and Olivia Springer.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Franklin, Donald and Nathan Nafe.

Funeral services will be private.

In her memory, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320.
