Born February 1, 1930 in Cochranville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Emma Jane (Krauss) Anderson.

Her life work, however, was her husband, children and showing love for everyone she met.
Prior to marrying the love of her life, she studied and converted to Catholicism and was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Coatesville.
She volunteered for many years in the Girls Scouts and was also a member of the Downingtown Historical Society. She enjoyed sharing with others her knowledge and preservation of historic buildings and volunteered as a guide at the Downingtown Log Cabin and the Zook House in Exton.
Surviving her, in addition to her husband, Michael Sr., are her six children, son, Michael A. Filoromo, Jr (Margaret Mary) and daughters, Janet L. Yastrop (Tom), Helen Annette Filoromo-Beck (Bob), Lisa A. Reeder (Richard), Theresa A. Matteo (Nick), Rita E. Bassett (Mike); eight grandchildren, Michael 3rd, Meghan, Maura, Nicholas, Anthony, Alyssa, Elaina and Julia; and five great-grandchildren, Gemma, Colette, Thomas, Miakoda and Forest.
