JOHN BRADLEY BREWER 6/10/58-1/30/17
The son of John and Elisabeth (Morehouse) Brewer, John ("Bucky"), age 58, grew up in St. Davids and Malvern, PA and attended Radnor schools, Great Valley High School, Blair Academy and one year at WVU.
Buck had many passions, among them: fly-tying, scuba diving, fresh and salt-water fishing, camping, boating and Nature. Through extensive self-study, Buck developed an encyclopedic knowledge of many subjects. He could identify almost any animal, bird, insect or fish, and relate their life-cycles or habitat needs. He could converse with anyone on a broad variety of scientific topics, and developed a wide circle of friends and acquaintances from all walks of life. He was a master machinist/tool and die maker, and became known as a brilliant problem solver, who was generous with his time and expertise.
His friends and relatives remember him as one-of-a-kind: funny, smart, quirky, kind and giving. He was loved.
He will be missed by his brother, David S. Brewer of Dalton, NH; sister, Pamela B. Smyth of Coatesville, PA and his niece, Sara and nephew, Oliver, and other extended family members. A service of remembrance and celebration will be held on Saturday, 3/11/17 at 3:30 PM, Episcopal Church of the Trinity, 323 E Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320 with a reception following.
