John III Obituary

John N. Entrekin, III, 76, of Downingtown passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.
He was the husband of Beatrice "Bunny" Hilton Entrekin with whom he would have shared 53 years of marriage on February 15th.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late John N. and Hazel Collins Entrekin, Jr.
John was a 1958 graduate of Scott High School.
He was employed at the former Allegheny Ludlum and Lukens Steel Company and after 44 years of combined service, John retired in 2002.
John was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Downingtown.
As an avid sports enthusiast, John enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Eagles and the Phillies. For the past five years, he would travel to the Florida Clearwater training camp of the Phillies. He played catcher in the Coatesville Adult Baseball league.
John was a 50 year member of Brandywine Goddard Lodge #383.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, Bunny, is a sister, Molly wife of Chip Clavier and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation of relatives and friends will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. A Masonic service will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service.
Interment will be private.
