Joyce R. (Ranck) Garver

Joyce R. Garver, 74, formerly of East Fallowfield passed away peacefully Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Freedom Village surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of Larry R. Garver with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Jay B. and Mary Poole Ranck.
Joyce was a 1960 graduate of Scott High School and a 1964 graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She continued her education towards a Master's degree. Joyce was a teacher in the Coatesville and Octorara School Districts.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Surviving her, in addition to her husband, Larry are two sons; David J. Garver (Laura) of West Caln, and Brian R. Garver of Chester Springs; and a sister, Mary Ellen Scott. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jane Ann Ranck.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville where family and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.
Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
