Joyce Marie Thompson, 75, of Coatesville passed away on Wednesday, December 23rd 2020, from a long battle with cancer.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Homer Hash and Eleanor LeFevre Hash. Joyce worked at South Brandywine Middle School for 25 years in the cafeteria. Joyce shared 51 wonderful loving years of marriage to her husband, James Thompson. They loved to spend Saturdays shopping and eating lunch at Chick Fil A.
Joyce adored her grandchildren, they were her world. Mom mom was a kind and loving soul. She always had a smile on her face, cracking jokes and laughing at almost everything. She loved making memories and capturing them through pictures and videos. Mom mom I will miss the times we spent together. We will miss you mom mom.
Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Thompson.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, James Thompson of Coatesville; her daughter, Paula Misuraca (Nick) of Coatesville; and her son, Paul Thompson (Amanda) of Parkesburg. Five grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; Alisha Del Percio of Atglen, Dylan Misuraca of Coatesville, Tyler Thompson of Parkesburg, Zachary Thompson of Parkesburg, Shane Misuraca of Coatesville; and a great grandchild, Wolfe Mull of Atglen.
Joyce (mom-mom) will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends and loved ones.
