Kenneth C. Finney, 55, of East Fallowfield died Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Neuro-Science Division of Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia.
Ken was the husband of Patricia A. Vanwhy Finney with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.
Born in Lehighton, PA he was the son of Charles A. and Joanne Blose Finney.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1982 to 1987 aboard the U.S.S. Milwaukee out of Norfolk, VA. After his service in the Navy, he began his career as a Research Engineer with first Arco Chemical Company, then FMC formerly Dupont Corporation.
Ken was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He served as his son’s Cub Scout Leader. He also enjoyed watching the Dolphins and was a NASCAR fan.
Surviving him in addition to his wife and parents are his children; Matthew, Megan and Taylor; two brothers, Brian and Daniel; his mother-in-law, Jane Vanwhy; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Fregede and Suzanne Velez.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, and from 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, October 24 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
