Kenneth Gathercole

Kenneth “Kenny” Gathercole, 67, of Coatesville passed away on May 3, 2023 surrounded by family at St. Martha’s Manor nursing home in Downingtown, PA.

Born on December 22, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert Paul Gathercole and Shirley Rubincan Gathercole.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Gathercole (George); brothers, Tim Gathercole and Joe Gathercole (Theresa); sisters-in-law, Joann and Kelly Gathercole.  He was predeceased in death by his brothers, Robert “Scats” Gathercole and Barry “Tag” Gathercole. He was also survived by his maternal Aunt Sharon Hettinger, paternal Uncle John Gathercole and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Kenny enjoyed collecting memorabilia such as Eagles and Hess trucks.  He worked for some time at Penquin Industries in Sadsburyville.  He also enjoyed helping his brothers with their lawn business, Tag’s Lawn Service. He also helped with the Modena Fire Co. in the kitchen and hall. He was fond of good food especially homemade. 

There will be a graveside service at Upper Octorara Cemetery, 357 Octorara Road, Parkesburg, PA 19365 to which family and friends are welcome on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
