Lance William Heverly, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was the son of Diane Altland Kauffman and stepson of Steven Kauffman of Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Lance resided in Florida for a number of years enjoying the warm weather, the beach and cheering on his favorite sports team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Upon his return to Pennsylvania, he became a licensed Cosmetologist and Barber. He had aspirations of opening his own barber shop and also providing free barbering services to the less fortunate. Lance enjoyed off-road motorcycling, working out, lifting weights and staying physically fit. Lance was a flea market enthusiast and would delight in finding a variety of antique and historical keepsakes. But what Lance loved most was spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his children, Liam and Hailey; sister, Elaina Kazmaier (Matt); brother, Michael Altland (Kristy); grandfather, George Altland; and grandparents, William and Joanne Heverly. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his father, Don Heverly; grandmother, Patsy Altland; and Aunt Leisa Heverly Haga.
A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, where relatives and friends may visit with the family beginning at 10 a.m.
