Lewis H. Branson, Jr., 87, of Coatesville passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Arbor Terrace Exton surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Geraldine “Gerrie” Lahm Branson with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Lewis H. and Anna Keshuta Branson, Sr.
After serving in the U. S. Army, Lou was employed as an Electrician for the former Lukens Steel Company.
He was a life-long member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church where he was very involved in many aspects of the church including the maintaining of the records for the church cemetery. Lou was a member of the West End Fire Company, the West Caln Sportsman Club and an avid Coatesville High School sports fan.
Surviving him in addition to his wife, Gerrie is a daughter, Ann Marie McBride and her husband Conal and granddaughter Kathryn; and a sister, Carolyn Sullivan
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 392 Charles St., Coatesville, where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Orthodox Cemetery.
