Lois Elaine (Norris) Beadle

Lois Elaine Beadle, 82, formerly of Coatesville, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was the wife of Richard B. Beadle, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Born in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Anna Moberg Norris.
Lois was a 1953 graduate of Huntingdon High School and in 1957 received a BS in Elementary Education from Millersville University where she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
In 1994, after 20 years of teaching, Lois retired as a 4th Grade teacher having taught at Rainbow Elementery and Terry School.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, embroidery, and reading adventure and mystery novels.
Surviving her are four children, Keith A. and Kurt A. Beadle; Kathy L. Westman (Alan) and Karen L. Gilbert (Ken); five grandchildren, Rebekah J. Rauch (Joshua); Mary Gilbert; Lane Westman and his fiancée, Brienne Etier; Seth A. Westman and Nikole R. Beadle; and two great grandchildren, Reagan E. and Samantha J. Rauch.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 3 and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Wednesday at the Lutheran Church.
Interment will be in Old Stone Church Cemetery, Marklesburg, PA
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at the above address.
