Louis J. Rambo, 77, of Coatesville died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his home.
He was the husband of Jane A. Rambo, who preceded him in death in 1991.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Louis G. and Rose Assetto Rambo.
He was a graduate of Coatesville High School and after graduation served in the U.S. Navy.
Louis owned the Wizard of Oz store in Thorndale during the 1970's and Captain Video during the 1980's and he went on to be a bartender/manager at Chester Valley Golf Club.
He was a collector of Beatles albums, statues of the Marx Brothers and Charlie Chaplin; and many cinema posters that filled the walls of his basement. He enjoyed playing the jukebox, pinball machines, displaying his trains and entertaining friends with his wife. His music appreciation ranged from Sinatra to the Beatles to Earth, Wind & Fire. Additionally, he enjoyed going to the casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City with friends.
Surviving him are his children; Gina L. Celii (Robert) of Rockwall, TX; Dana C. DiDomenico (Paul) of Coatesville; Daniel R. Rambo of Kennett Square and L. Dean Rambo (late Linda Rambo) of Coatesville; and three grandchildren; Alana C. and Corey Celii and Joshua L. Moran.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville where relatives and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
In his memory, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church at the above address.
