Lucy Taylor Obituary

Lucy Jane Taylor, 72, of Coatesville went home to the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.
Jane was the wife of George H. Taylor, Sr. with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Donald E. and Mildred Boohar Scott.
Jane was employed as a secretary in the administration office of the Coatesville Area School District for 10 years.
She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Gum Tree. Jane was very involved in the O.E.S., Chapter 249 where she was twice Worthy Matron. Additionally, she was District Deputy Grand Matron
and Worthy President of the Social Order of Beauceant in Elizabethtown, PA. She also enjoyed needlework and crocheting.
Surviving her, in addition to her husband, George; is a brother, W. Marvin Scott and his wife, Lavonne; daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ray Taylor and their children, Grace and Raymond; two grandchildren, Paula and Nickolas; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Haley; and nephews, Kenneth and Edward Scott.
She was preceded in death by two sons, George H. Taylor, Jr. and Stephen K. Taylor and a grandson, Seth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may also call from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, November 2 with Eastern Star services at 7:45 p.m.
Interment will be in Hephzibah Cemetery, Coatesville.
