Margaret J. (Augustine) Teijaro

Margaret Teijaro, 84, of Ephrata and formerly of Coatesville passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Keystone Villa, Ephrata.

She was the wife of the late Avelino Teijaro who preceded her in death in 2021.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Katherina Augustine.

Margaret was employed as an Executive Secretary at National Liberty. After a short retirement, she started a second career that lasted for 20 + years at Freedom Village in Dining Services.

She was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Shopping at Boscov’s was on her “to do” list, along with attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.  Time spent at Ocean City, MD and Cape May, NJ made for many special memories.

Surviving her are two sons, Mark J. (Wife, Diana) and Allen W. (Wife, Val); a sister, Christine Guiseppe; five grandchildren, Larissa, Brandon, Meghan, Brianna, and Benjamin; 14 great grandchildren; and devoted nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William “Sonny” Augustine.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 392 Charles St., Coatesville.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Orthodox Cemetery, Coatesville.
