Marietta (Gentile) Mann

Marietta M. Mann of East Fallowfield, PA died Sunday, March 26, 2023.  She was born May 30, 1939, to the late Raphael (Ray) L. Gentile, Sr. and D. Margaret Porreca Gentile.

She was married to the late Kenneth L. Mann, Sr. for 26 years until his death in 1984.

Marietta was a graduate of the Class of 1957, S. Horace Scott Sr. High School and served as the Reunion Committee Chairperson for their class.

She was a believer in volunteerism and gave many hours to Cub Scouts, Brownies, PTA, her township election polls and to the Brandywine Hospital.   For many years, she was a lector for the celebration of the Mass for Our Lady of the Rosary Church which brought her a deeper appreciation of her faith and strength to see her through the difficult times in her life.

Her years of employment saw her as a Reading Tech. under Title One in the local school district, a secretary for Threaded Screw Products of Thorndale, PA, and finally as a Coordinator of Sales and Engineering for Lenape Forge, Inc. where she retired in 2006.

She enjoyed reading, travel, and cooking and baking for her family and friends.  Her family was always her strength and joy.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, Ray L. Gentile, Jr., her sister, Victoria G. Nunemaker, granddaughter, Megan Nicole Stauffer, grandson, Steven M. Stauffer and son-in-law, Gary F. Stauffer.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret L. Stauffer, two sons, Kenneth L. Mann, Jr. (Michele) and Patrick F. Mann (Kerry Lynn Dunn); four grandchildren, a great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
