Majorie A. Flaim, 81, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Grand Island, NY, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on December 11, 1943, in Niagara Falls, Majorie was the beloved daughter of the late Mary and William Copeland, and William Simpson. She was preceded in death by her sisters MaryJean Bellemore and Bonnie Candella, and her brother William Simpson.
Majorie shared a rare and enduring love with her husband, Daniel Flaim, whom she met when they were just 13 years old. Together, they built a life grounded in devotion, faith, and unwavering commitment, celebrating over 61 years of marriage as each other’s truest companion and greatest love.
She was a proud and loving mother to David (Valerie) and Darrin (Christina), and a cherished grandmother to Zachary, Allison, Devin, Ryan, Morgan, and Taylor. Her deep love for her family was the foundation of her life.
Majorie had a profound love for animals and turned that passion into a thriving dog grooming business that brought joy to countless families over the years. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the care she extended not only to animals but to everyone who crossed her path.
A devoted Christian, Majorie’s faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ guided her life and gave her strength in all seasons. She lived her faith with humility and grace, touching the lives of many with her quiet kindness and steadfast belief.
She is survived by her loving husband Daniel, her brother Richard Simpson, her sons and daughters-in-law, her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of Majorie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in her memory.
