Melissa A. Miller, 65, of Wilmington, DE died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marian Yoho McDowell and the wife of John W. Miller.

Melissa was a 1972 graduate of Coatesville High School. She was employed as a bank teller for the former Industrial Valley Bank and WSFS Bank. Also, she was employed with Harrah’s Casino in Chester.

Surviving her, in addition to her husband John; are two sons, Joshua (Kathy) Stringer and Daniel (Jamie) Stringer; a sister, Tina Robinson and two brothers, Michael and James McDowell. Her grandchildren, who brought her much joy, are Alexis, Makala, Eli, Jaden and Ryan.

Private graveside services will be held at St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
