Nancy H. (Hammond) Caragher

Nancy H. Caragher, 86, of Honey Brook died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Tel Hai Retirement Community.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Horace D. and Grace Peel Hammond.

Nancy was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Cocalico Cruisers and the Honey Brook Fire Co. Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Thompson and wife, Jodi; a daughter, Nancy T. Root and husband Richard; three grandchildren, Tara Rash (Timothy), Benjamin Root (Melissa) and Aubrey Thompson Day (John); and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Chapel @ Tel Hai, 3100 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook.  Relatives and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.

In her memory, contributions may be made to Tel Hai Assurance Fund, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344.

At Nancy’s request, she would like everyone to wear bright and summery clothing since she loved going to the beach.
