Patricia A. (Wood) Sheves

Patricia Ann Wood Sheves, 79, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 29, 2024. Born and raised in Bad Axe, Michigan, Patricia was proud of her Midwestern roots, which shaped the way she lived her life.

A standout student, Patricia graduated as valedictorian of her high school class and went on to have a long career as a registered nurse. Her dedication to her work and her ability to connect with others made her a respected and valued member of her community.

Patricia had a love for adventure and a curious spirit. She was an avid scuba diver and a licensed pilot, finding joy in exploring both the depths of the ocean and the sky. She also enjoyed simpler pleasures like walking, biking, and spending time outdoors. Summers were especially special to her as she often visited the New Jersey seashore to relax by the ocean.

Patricia was married to Jake Schultz (1996), with whom she had two sons, Michael and David, and Alex Sheves (2014), with whom she shared many happy years.

She is survived by her sister, Sigrid Wood; cousin, April Shute; two sons, Michael (Tarrin) and David Schultz (Sharon); and three grandchildren, Keegan, Nash, and Samantha. Her family will remember her for her independence, her love for life, and the impact she had on everyone who knew her.

As we celebrate the life of Patricia, we honor her legacy of adventure, love, and perseverance. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
