Pietro Gulli Obituary
Pietro Gulli, 94, of Thorndale died peacefully at home Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Born in San Pier Niceto, Sicily, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Angela Sacca Gulli.
He shared 68 years of marriage with his wife Guiseppa Previte Gulli.
He worked for the Embreeville State Hospital and the PA National Guard. Pietro served in the Italian Army during WWII.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, an avid gardener and enjoyed playing bocce ball with his brother-in-laws.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Vincent and wife Donna; daughter Angela; two grandchildren Melissa and Michael (Caitlin); two great-grandchildren Chloe and Kennedy; two sisters Maria and Tonia, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Rosaria and Vincenza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Visitation will be from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
In his memory memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
