Raymond S. Pawlowski Sr

Raymond S. Pawlowski, Sr., 86, of Coatesville died Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan in 2014 having shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Julius and Sophie Pawlowski.
Ray was a devoted husband, loving father and member of St. Joseph's Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Japan during the Korean War. Ray was employed for 43 years at Lukens Steel.
Among his favorite activities were playing golf with his sons, walking through Coatesville saying hello to those he passed, and a Sunday ride to Atlantic City for a favorite brunch.
Ray lived his entire life as a truly caring family man, with his wife, eight children, 12 grandchildren and great granddaughter meaning everything to him.
Surviving him are his children, Ray, Joe (Kathy), Tom, Mary Anne Duca (Pete), Karen Tracy (Mark), Jim (Marissa), Bob (Jennifer) and Jeanne Pawlowski; a brother, John Pawlowski (Barbara); sister-in-law, Anne McComsey(LeRoy); brother-in-law, Paul Krupansky; grandchildren, Joseph, William, Peter, Courtney, Nicholas, Stephanie, Samantha, David, Jimmy, Danny, Robert and Brandon; and a great granddaughter, Maci.. He was preceded in death by five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Joseph's Church, 404 Charles St., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 18 and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville.
Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Coatesville.
