Robert W. Stein, 97, of East Fallowfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Born in Queens, New York, Robert was the son of the late Edward and Emily Stein of Wantagh, Long Island. He was the beloved husband of his late wife, Carole Stein, with whom he shared 68 wonderful years of marriage and together raised their family in Wayne, Pennsylvania, for over three decades.
A dedicated member of St. Isaac Jogues in Wayne and more recently Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Coatesville, Bob’s true passion was spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He loved watching them grow and create their own families. Bob also enjoyed his biodynamic gardening, tennis, photography and golf in his earlier years, and later, learning how to fly-fish with his three sons. Known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand, Bob was always ready to assist with any project well into his late 80s.
After a fulfilling career with Exxon spanning 34 years, Bob and Carole cherished their retirement, spending many relaxing days and entertaining family at their home in the Outer Banks, NC.
Bob Stein is survived by his six children: Claudia, Gail, Bobby, Pete, Jamie, and Katie; his 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
His warmth, energy, and unwavering love for family and friends will be deeply missed.
