Ronald Gibson Obituary

Ronald W. Gibson, 68, of Coatesville died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home.
He was the husband of Marion "Marnie" Hoffman Gibson with whom he shared 14 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Carl and Erma McCarraher Gibson.
Ron was a 1966 graduate of Scott High School and received an Associates degree from Goldey Beacom College. He also attended St. Joseph's University and West Chester University.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
After his military service, he was employed for 37 years with Unisys Corporation.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, Marnie; is a daughter, Stacey Pawling (Gerald); two sons, Philip Gibson (Mia) and Jeffrey Gibson; stepchildren, Michelle Carter (Sean) and Steven Iezzi (Lindsay); grandchildren, Tyler, Alexandria, Stephen, Trent, Olivia, Cecilia, Maddox and Sebastian; step-grandchildren, Elijah, Chase and Hayden; two sisters, Carol Yoder (Bill) and Cindy Barker (Keith); sister-in-laws, Cathy Wagner (Dave), Donna Carbone (Rick), Barbara Hoffman; brother-in-law, Jimmy Hoffman and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Danae; his brother, Ricky; and brother-in-law, Jack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 20th and from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., on Friday at the church.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
