Sandra Kilsby

Sandra (Sandy) Lee Kilsby passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 76. Sandy was vivacious, bright, vibrant, and beautiful. She earned a degree from Parsons School of Design from which she opened and ran her own business under the name of Kilsby Designs, LLC in 1985. She was also the owner of a private aviation company, Global Positioning Jets Inc.

Sandy had many hobbies outside of her design company, but her most cherished place in NYC was Central Park where she would spend hours sitting, walking, or watching the tourists.

Sandy will be very missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Linda (Whiteman) Clay; brother Keith Whiteman; sisters-in-law Helen Whiteman and Kelly Whiteman; nieces and nephews Chelsea and Chase Whiteman, Brooke Comley, and Kelly Laukhuff; nephew-in-law Dylan Charles; and great niece Alivia Comley. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Betty Jane Whiteman, father Horace Andrew Whiteman, brother Guy Whiteman, brother-in-law K. Scott Clay, nephew Billy Howe Jr., and niece Michelle Frazier.

Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, 510 E. 62nd Street, New York City, NY 10065.
