Serena B. (Benard) Jasinsky

Serena B. Jasinsky, 97, of Coatesville died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Freedom Village.
She was the wife of William S. Jasinsky, who preceded her in death in 1976.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Wayne G. and Anna Lyons Benard.
Serena was a 1937 graduate of Coatesville High School.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Serena was a past president of the Century Club of Coatesville; a member of the Town and Country Garden Club; the Chester County Federation of Women's Clubs; enjoyed playing bridge and was inducted into the Coatesville Hall of Fame in 1978.
Surviving her is a daughter, Susan A. Heller; two grandchildren, Darren Hack and Stacia Layser; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
