Shirley L. (Winkler) Forbes

Shirley L Forbes, 65, of Honeybrook PA, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the wife of Edson Forbes, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.

Shirley was born in Coatesville, PA, the daughter of the late Lloyd D. Winkler and Betty L. Anderson Winkler. 

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her three children, Kimberly Hernandez (Raul), Pamala Forbes, and David Forbes (Amber Carlisle); 8 grandchildren, Ryan (Emily), Nicholas, Myles, Aiden, Kaitlyn, Riley, Cameron, and Madison, 2 great grandchildren, Sienna and Rhys, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.   She was proceeded in death by her brother, John.

Shirley's grandchildren were her life.  She enjoyed baking cookies and teaching her grandchildren how to bake.  Her heart of gold made her known as mom to everyone she encountered.

Services and burial are private.
