Obituary
Thomas H. McInerney, 75, of Coatesville died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Chester County Hospital.
He was the husband of Barbara Caputo McInerney with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Hugh and Catherine Szylo McInerney.
Tom was a 1961 graduate of Coatesville High School where he excelled in basketball and baseball. He also attended Goldey Beacom Business School. He was employed as a scheduler at Lukens Steel Company.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife, Barbara; are three children, Deborah Doubts (Lester), Thomas McInerney (Lisa) and Susan Rakoff; seven grandchildren, Paul Anthony (Amanda), Christopher and Robert Abdala; Brianne and Cassie McInerney; and Katelyn and Kevin Hibbard; two great grandchildren, Paul Nicholas and Nathan Abdala; and two sisters, Kathleen Richards (Rodger) and Ann Bratic (Alex).
A Prayer Service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville where relatives and friends may call from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m.
In his memory, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320.
